Short stories about people whose lives just didn't go quite right, like the guy who had to drive his ex-wife's new husband home after an accident at a yoga retreat and the man whose marriage fell apart after his wife noticed another woman's sock print on the windshield. The plots all seem vaguely unlikely, but the characters are just believable enough that you can relate to them.-Amy
